Neura Sports
Sport, and the protection of talent on and off the field. A career is measured to a decimal place. The person inside it is measured by nobody.
The body is measured constantly.
Load, recovery, sleep, output. In a serious setup every one of those is tracked to a decimal place, and the analysis is genuinely world class. Nobody needs convincing that performance data matters.
What it measures is whether the athlete is ready to compete. That is not the same question as whether the athlete is going to be alright.
The person is measured by nobody.
Money arriving at nineteen with no one to explain it. A contract nobody read to them properly. A career that ends at twenty-six with forty years left and no second thing to be. The family, the agent, the club, all with a different stake in the answer.
None of that is tracked, because none of it is anyone’s job.
Talent is not lost. It is failed by systems that were never designed to protect it.
Zero death of talent. That is the target, and it means the career, not only the person.
What we would argue for.
A direction we would consult on inside a club, a federation, an academy or a players’ body. We build nothing and we represent nobody.
Protect the person, not only the asset
A club protects its investment. Somebody has to protect the twenty-year-old inside it, and it cannot be the same person negotiating their contract.
Money literacy before the money arrives
Financial education delivered at the point of signing, not after the first bad decision has already been made.
A second identity, built early
A career that ends at twenty-six is a fact of the industry. The time to build what comes next is while the first thing is still going well.
Mental load treated like physical load
Sleep, stress and pressure are measured obsessively for performance. The same rigour rarely reaches the parts that do not show up on a scoreboard.
Independent counsel
Advice from someone who does not benefit from the athlete playing on. That independence is the entire value.
Follow the ones who did not make it
Every academy measures its graduates. Almost none measure the far larger group it released at sixteen, and that is where the real data is.
Neura Sports is in development.
If you run an academy, a club or a players’ association and you already know which part of this you are not covering, that is the conversation. We consult and take 1% equity in the outcome instead of a fee.
Straight answers
What is the position here?
Sport, and the protection of talent on and off the field. Performance is measured obsessively. The person is not.
Why does off the field matter more?
Because on the field is already well served. Money at nineteen, a contract nobody explained, and a career ending at twenty-six are not anyone’s job today.
Is this about injury?
Injury is part of it. So are the mental and structural gaps that were never anyone\u2019s job to close.
Can I contribute?
Yes. If you work in sport and can see the gap, that is the conversation.
Who would you work with?
A club, a federation, an academy or a players’ body. We represent nobody and benefit from no one playing on.
Five things worth knowing
- 01
Sport produces exceptional people and then frequently fails them through gaps nobody owned.
- 02
Talent protection is rarely as rigorous as performance training.
- 03
A support system built around the result is not the same as one built around the person.
- 04
Most of what ends a career early was visible long before it ended one.
- 05
Every academy measures its graduates. Almost none measure the far larger group it released at sixteen.
